Dylan Mahalingam for Hemispheres Magazine

Back in December, I did a shoot for Hemispheres Magazine. Hemispheres is the inflight mag for United Airlines so if you’re taking a flight via UA this month, be on the lookout! The assignment was to photograph Dylan Mahalingam from Derry, NH. Dylan is a 15 year old who just happens to be a youth representative for the U.N., his mission as quoted is ‘to empower and engage youth around the world to get more involved in making the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) happen’. It was really nice speaking with Dylan about his goals and motivation – hard to believe he is only 15. Makes me think of myself at that age, certainly not being this involved in helping – hell, I was trying to make a profit!
